How do you solve a problem with no solution? Two seemingly unrelated events will soon affect the entire world! The Holy Church has just ordained the first South American Pope.

Born into poverty and raised on the mean streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina, the new leader of the Holy Church intends to bring the church kicking and screaming into the 21st century. While at the same time, the death of the Venezuelan President has opened the door to a new, rising political star and her plan to inspire an entire world. The Pope finds himself cleverly trapped in a web, from which he cannot escape, when the Republican nominees for President and Vice President of the United States of America, Richard Delaney, and his stunning running mate, Michelle Yakin, propose a horrific solution.

However, three visionaries: a mysterious Elder from the Andes Mountains, who calls himself Older Brother, the second term, lame duck, President of the United States of America, and an environmentalist, see another way . . . Unfortunately, the time to act is running out. Mother Nature may have crossed the Rubicon and there is no turning back. The Apocalypse, the End of Days has arrived and humanity is to be judged.

About the Author: Before I was a writer I was working with at-risk families as a Youth Worker. It was there that I found so many enriching and fascinating people and I often draw from that experience to find characters and plots for my novels.

I then began traveling, and have had the good fortune to find many interesting places.  These experiences have often found a way into my writing.

In my spare time I hike and am fortunate enough to live with my wife in one of the most beautiful places on the planet aptly named Garden Bay, on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada.

My first novel is called The Singing Bowl. It’s an epic story about a monk living in a monastery in Tibet who escapes the Communists and is given a quest by his master. He must find a book lost to the world. Like a Japanese koan, the solution leads him on adventures beyond his wildest imaginations, and ultimately to insight.

My second book is called The Rubicon Effect: A story about mankind being tested by Global Climate Change. The ultimate trial to see what humanity is driven by… hope or fear.

My third novel, which I wrote with my good friend Jeff Leitch, is called Saving Our Pennys. It should be coming out this winter. It’s a very different story, about a teacher who is lost and looking for a mentor–not to just help with his profession, but with his life, which he feels is slipping away. Little does he know that mentors can come from the most unexpected places.

I am a writer who does not like to fall into one niche or style. I enjoy writing different genres with unique voices, and exotic settings.

Author Bio: Inion N. Mathair means daughter ‘n’ mother in Irish Gaelic and is a pseudonym for daughter and mother writing team, Ginger Brooke Perrone (Inion) and Natalie Perrone (Mathair). We both have a deeply rooted love for books and the craft of writing, splitting our time between writing Young Adult novels as well as poetry and short stories. Though we are originally from Pt. Charlotte, Florida, we now call Franklin, North Carolina our home. We are currently working on the second installment of The Perfect 7, and a Mystery Romance YA novel and a short story compilation, both of which are due out in the fall.

Review by Jim L. Wright: Thanks to Inion N Mathair, the mother-daughter writing team, I’ve just finished reading a book I never wanted to end. It’s a rare thing for me to become so involved with characters that my breath stops and my heart races with nearly every page. The tale is not only well conceived, but brilliantly told with more hooks than a convention of pirates.

Our boys are dazzled by the lure of bright lights, fame, and fortune. Unfortunately, there is a tarnish to be dealt with and it’s not of this world. The characters are as astonishingly well developed as the story.

I have to make a confession here. Very early in the book, I started to ration the number of pages I’d read each day. I wanted to savour the spinning of the yarn, but another part of me wanted to sit up all night and finish it in one go. I’m so glad I paced myself because now I have to wait for the sequel. If you’re looking for a nice, fairy tale happy ending The Perfect 7 is not your book. BUT, if you’re looking for a story that will pull you in, grab you by the throat and excite you beyond belief then this is the book for you! I gladly rate this book with 5 stars as I wait with bated breath for the next installment.
