CC 5 Gray Ghost (2)The Story: Miami Dade Police Department Narcotics detectives on a fly fishing vacation to Andros Island in the Bahamas quickly learn their fishing guides are suspected of being murdered while transporting a hundred million dollars worth of cocaine in a speed boat.

Local law enforcement and the visiting detectives decide to try to apprehend a master mind, known simply as the “Caller,” while following leads in Miami as well as the Bahamas.

An elaborate trap is set to snare the “Caller;” however, he knows about the trap as he is one of the people who the detectives ask to help design the trap.   The “Caller” uses other people to steal the cocaine; however, even he doesn’t see the ending coming.

About the Author: C. L. Swinney is a narcotics investigator currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area.  He has investigated hundreds of narcotics, homicide, gang, and Mexico cartel cases along the west coast of the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  C. L. Swinney has been invited to speak at law enforcement conferences throughout the United States and is recognized as an expert in narcotics, homicides, and cell phone forensics.  C. L. Swinney developed the concept for the first book in his Bill Dix series, Gray Ghost, while fly fishing in the Bahamas.

His passion for the outdoors and law enforcement is intertwined throughout his writing.  The world of narcotics is dark and mysterious.  C. L. Swinney pulls the reader immediately into this fascinating world from the first word in his debut novel and doesn’t let you out until you finish the book.

Finding time to be with family is his greatest obstacle.

Gray Ghost will be released in July.

The Author: Helen Osterman

Enter Emma Winberry, a friend of Delia’s and suspicious of June. Her sixth sense and her Guardian Angel tell her there is trouble brewing.

Delia begins to recover and is able to communicate with Emma. But June is hiding something in her past and wants both Emma and Delia out of her way.

About the Author: Helen Osterman lives in Homer Glen, a suburb of Chicago. She has five children and nine grandchildren.

She received a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Mercy Hospital-St. Xavier College and later earned a Master’s Degree from Northern Illinois University. Throughout her forty-five year nursing career, she wrote articles for both nursing and medical journals.
