Half-Bitten Revamped by PJ Hawkinson
As Trudy exacts revenge, she realizes she is changing and seeks answers to the unsettling questions concerning her new powers.
Teenager Trudy Purdy, a self-described plain Jane, is ecstatic when one of the most popular boys in school, Tray Farquar, asks her to be his girl. Trudy realizes she’s made a terrible mistake when Tray lures her to a deserted beach where three of his friends await their arrival.
Left for dead, Trudy is found by feeding vampires. When she awakens uninjured in her home, she initially remembers nothing of the horrifying night. But as days pass, her mind flashes back to the night on the beach. She remembers everything. She also begins to feel a new power within. Trudy uses her newfound strength, gained by drinking blood of others, to plot the accidental deaths of the boys who brutalized her.
As Trudy exacts revenge, she realizes she is changing and seeks answers to the unsettling questions concerning her new powers. She suspects what she is changing into and wonders how it will affect the rest of her life.
