The Three Way by Scott Bury
The Three-Way is a super fast paced book with a lot of twists and turns. The gripping suspense makes it hard to put down.
How is Daesh, the Islamic State, funding its war of oppression in the Middle East? Van and LeBrun are determined to find out.
Van Freeman, the dreamiest socialist surfer dude secret agent, takes his electromagnetic gun and his hunter-killer drones on a harrowing trip through Daesh-occupied territory, blowing stuff up in his inimitable style, to unravel a three-way deal that feeds the 21st century?s most evil regime.

Review by Anima Giraldez:
Now this is the kind of book I love! Even though it’s been awhile since we’ve seen Van in action he hasn’t changed a bit. Still the surfer blonde dude with long hair that does as he pleases, but he packs a strong punch.
Never judge a guy by his looks because Van is not what you think. This guy has the most incredible “toys” to fight against ISIS, Daesh, as he goes undercover as a recruit. A magnetic gun and weaponized drones are very creative and powerful. We have the return of a few favorite characters, Bobby Maxim is an old friend of Sydney’s and ally of Van’s, and the female warriors from Girl with a Gun.
Sydney was sort of MIA here but her friends are present and she’s talked of fondly. This is the second addition Bury has written for Sydney Rye’s Kindle World but it stands completely alone, not necessary to read Wife Line or any Sydney books.
However, if you are reading within this Kindle World you no doubt know the story and should be pleased with this thrilling high energy ride
Review by Sharon Scott:
Scott Bury has added another thriller to Kindle Worlds. This time with The Sydney Rye series. I am a big fan of the Sydney Rye series and Emily Kimelman and this is a fantastic addition that series!
The Three-Way is a super fast paced book with a lot of twists and turns. The gripping suspense makes it hard to put down and I finished it in one sitting, staying up way to late!
You get to visit old friends and get just a glimpse of the heroine.
