Returning to the Land Where My Soul Resides.

My heart and soul are in a state of exultation.  Today I am returning to Kruger National Park in South Africa for a few weeks.

It is in Kruger that my heart and soul are replenished.

Here I see survival of the fittest in pure form.

Here I see that life goes on.

Here I feel the destiny of life.

Here I am in tune with all that is important to life.

I return because I yearn to see that the changes of life are constant.  Kruger helps me to remember the basics of living, not the material, not the bling, not the pettiness of life’s little problems.

Rather I find that the wildlife is able to live as God intended.  Animals endeavor to find the elements of living.  They find shelter, food, a mate or several, and rest.  Life is not easy, but they focus on the essentials of life.  Each is able to do so according to its own nature. Sometimes it is heartbreaking.  Sometimes it is too strong.

But it reaffirms the cycles of life.

It restores something deep in my soul.
